Anyone who has been to a fair notices that there are nice looking rides…and not so nice looking rides. There are rides that look like well oiled machines, and there are rides that looks like rust buckets. All those rides that fit into the latter categories are what I like to call “White Trash Carnie Rides,” or WTCRs. These rides just radiate that certain aura of…carnie-ness.
Let me stress that being a WTCR doesn’t mean that the ride is dangerous! It may look that way but many rides listed here have very good track records…they just look like crap!
